IRS Announcement: 2019 Cost of Living Increases

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Social Security Administration (SSA) recently announced cost of living adjustments applicable to dollar limitations for qualified retirement plans, and other limits for tax year 2019. Some limits remain unchanged from 2018.

Human Resource Managers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and financial professionals will want to make note of the new 2019 limits provided below:

2019 limits reflect issuance of IRS Notice 2018-83 (November 1, 2018) and Social Security Administration Fact Sheet (October 2018).
